We do not have prices on our services due to a number of factors that contribute to your quote. For example, how long the dance routine is for, the complexity of the choreography, number of people, how many services you require, where you want the lessons to take place eg. dance studio hire costs etc.

If we set a standard price for everyone, we may be over quoting or under quoting you, which is why we like to gather all the required information from you prior to giving you a quote.

The reason for this is because of the number of services we provide to our customers and the fact that AA Dance is run by a solo dance instructor. We have to ensure we have availability for the date and time of your preference and for the service you require. It is much easier if we get as much information from you via the appropriate enquiry form, and then discuss costs, details and times that suit both our availability.

If requested, we can accommodate for a solo performance or a solo performance combined with an interactive dance workshop.

We don’t however have a group of dancers whom you can hire for performances.

We don’t have a studio as we are a fully mobile service that operates in Melbourne but we’ve got a great list of hire options if a studio is required. We do highly recommend our instructors come to your event whether that be at a private residence, or function space. Please note studios require advance bookings due to limited availability and flexibility with theirs studio availability times

A location that is able to comfortably fit everyone who is dancing and a floor surface that is safe and appropriate for dancing on that is all! Your dance instructor will arrive with portable speakers and your song/music ready to go! No power or cords necessary. If outdoors, there needs to be a weather back up plan. Last minute cancellations due to rain etc. will forfeit that lesson.

Weeknights after 7pm/Weekends there is flexibility of day or evening. Studio Hire times will depend on studio booking availability, generally weekends are our busiest period. Booking in advance is the easiest way to secure your preference for date and time! We do welcome last minute bookings if we can accommodate it.

I am a trained bollywood dancer. What this means is that I have undertaken formal dance training consisting of four days a week of rigorous dance focussed training over a period of 7 years to attain a high level of dance skill and ability including indian semi-classical and hip-hop. I travel to Europe every year to train with professionals in Bachata and Kizomba Fusion to advance my level of dancing.

I am also an officially certified bachata sensual instructor, certified by the creators of Bachata Sensual Korke y Judith and also a qualified dance performance coach.

The difference is simple. Trained dancers have trained for years to reach a professional standard and when they join a company they bring together the very best of dance talent and this is why we charge clients for our time. Dancing is not a hobby for trained dancers, it’s a career.

We have spent thousands and thousands of dollars over a span of 10 to 20 years for dance lessons, dance training, ongoing private lessons, travel overseas to attain further dance training from professionals, and completing official dance instructor certifications.

At AA Dance, we continue to take ongoing private lessons, and dance training from professionals in various dance styles around the world. Why? Because, we believe that one can never ever stop learning as a true dancer. To sustain an optimum level, you need to keep training and attaining new levels to be able to deliver your best to your clients.
